Abstract

Video Voter is a project sponsored by the Rose Institute of State and Local Government, located at Claremont McKenna College. For every statewide measure on the general election ballot, a team of research assistants write an in-depth white paper that gives voters all they need to know about the proposition. From there, the team produces a 2-minute video for each measure, summarizing the relevant information in a concise, unbiased way. Marketed to as many voters as possible and including Spanish-language subtitles, the project seeks to have a direct impact on voter education.
