Abstract

The goal of this art piece is to provide a positive and encouraging outlook on research and to provide motivation to those who view the piece. What inspired me to create this piece is that we need to be encouraging to people who are disparaging about the status of the world. The world we live in can be full of strife and can tear you down as you go about your day. It is important to provide a positive outlook on life to give hope and to potentially inspire those to take action however they can to help one another and the planet we live on. This is meant to encourage others to do their part with all of the options that are available. The piece being a general showing of people coming together with their strengths to help the planet as a whole, as well as things people can do to better themselves and the world we live in, shows that even little things can make a big difference on our outlook. The hands portrayed held together around the world are there to further the theme of positivity and coming together to do something right for the world. The poster includes common symbols and research relating to things like recycling, public transport, voting, and other methods we as a populace can do in the meantime until we can get policies in place to help the planet heal and become more eco friendly. The world with the hands in the center is the main focal point of the piece to convey the positive message.
