The Southern California Conferences for Undergraduate Research (SCCUR) is an organization of Southern California faculty, administrators, and interested members of the community who share the common goal of improving education for college and university students through hands-on, inquiry-based experiences of undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity under the guidance of faculty mentors.
SCCUR's cornerstone program is a one-day conference held each November on the campus of a college or university in the greater Los Angeles area. The conference provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of the best research, scholarship, and creative work of undergraduates in the region, and celebrates undergraduate achievement.
SCCUR is broadly multi-disciplinary, including the sciences, humanities, social sciences, arts, and performing arts. The conference typically draws 500-800 students (undergraduate, community college, and high school), their faculty mentors, and administrators.

SCCUR 2009 will be held at California State University, Dominguez Hills, November 21, 2009.
