Overview
SCCUR provides a forum for the presentation of the best research, scholarship, and creative activities of undergraduate students in the region, and encourages communication of innovative achievements across disciplines.
The conference is broadly multi-disciplinary, including the arts, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and applied sciences.
Students present their scholarly work either in 15-minute seminar presentations chaired by faculty moderators, in poster sessions, or in exhibition or performance.

Undergraduate students who wish to present their faculty-mentored research, scholarship, and creative activities at SCCUR must complete the on-line abstract submission form.
Abstracts are reviewed by faculty from appropriate disciplines and accepted, returned for revision, or declined.
Students, before submitting your abstract for SCCUR 2023, it is important to consult with your faculty mentor. All accepted abstracts will be published on the conference program and website.
SCCUR has partnered with the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR), to provide you an opportunity to present your research again. NCUR will take place April 8-10, 2024, at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. After the November conference, presenters will be invited to opt-in for auto-acceptance to the NCUR program in April. There is a special registration rate for SCCUR student presenters to participate in NCUR of $215.
